High Country Performing Arts Association, the parent organization of High Country Brass,
has been given a tremendous opportunity to increase the strength and capabilities of our
organization.
We have received a $5,000 Challenge Grant that could
bring $10,000 to HCPAA.
But we need your help, and now! This is a time
sensitive offer.
The donor, a fan of HCB, has offered two challenges to HCPAA:
- Challenge #1: If HCPAA can raise $1,000 in donations by 12/31/2011,
the donor will contribute $1,000.
- Challenge #2: If HCPAA can raise $5,000 in donations before
March 3, 2012, the donor will increase the donation to $5,000!!
Although at first this may seem difficult, all it takes to meet the requirements of
Challenge #1 is for just 10 people to make a $100 donation, or 20 people who make a $50 donation,
or even 40 donating just $25! But it HAS to be done before year end.
For Challenge #2, we're going to have to look further outside for donors. Many people are willing
and able to help, but just have to be asked. Going to see your dentist? Ask him. Seeing relatives
during the holidays? Check with them. Someone at work especially cheerful? Ask them!

Let the spirit of giving during the holidays help you to help us! Be sure to mention that this
is a Challenge Grant and let them know that if we don't meet our challenge, we lose out on $5,000!
If you think that someone else will take care of this, so you don't have to, it won't happen.
